You can do it by splitting the middle term..method

first multiply...a×c = 12

then factorise 12 .

b= sum of those factors...

so, 12 = 3×4

& 7 = 3+4

 {2x}^{2}  + 7x + 6

2 {x}^{2}  + 3x + 4x + 6

2x(x + 2) + 3(x + 2)

(2x + 3) \: (x + 2)
