⇒ 2{x}^{2} + 9x - 5

⇒2 {x}^{2}  + (10 - 1)x - 5

⇒2 {x}^{2}  + 10x - x - 5

⇒x(2x - 1) + 5(2x - 1)

⇒(x + 5)(2x - 1)

  • First split the middle term as we split like above 9x is replace by (10-1)x because 9 = 10 -1
  • Then take common from all equation like we have taken x and 5.
  • Then take brackets in one side and left one in another bracket.
