Factorise:2x³- 3x²- 17x+30​

Answer:

let us substitute x = 2

2(2)^3 - 3(2)^2 - 17(2) + 30

16 - 12 - 34 + 30

46 - 46 = 0

so therefore 2 is a factor

2x^3−3x^2−17x+30=0byhitandtrail x=2 satisfies so x−2is one factor of polynomial

now divide polynomial with (x-2)
