=> Let x= -3 is a factor of p(x).

p(x) = 2x³+ x² - 13x+6

0 = 2(-3)³ + (-3)² - 13(-3) + 6

0 = 2(-27) + 9 - 39 + 6

0 = -54 + 9 - 39 + 6

0 = -15 + 1

0 = 0

( Hence, x = -3 is a factor of p(x). )

.

x = -3

x + 3 =0

=> Divide x + 3 by 2x³+ x²- 13x+6.

We will get equation,

=> 2x² - 5x + 2

=> 2x² - (4+1)x + 2

=> 2x² - 4x -1x +2

=> 2x( x-2) -1( x-2)

=> (x-2) (2x-1)
