 = 2 {x}^{2}  - 3x \:  - 2

by factorize

= ( 2x + 1 ) ( x - 2 )

x = -1/2

x = 2.

2(-3x-2)^ 2

First multiply the no outside the bracket with the nos in the bracket

(-6x -4 )^2

We can write this as

(-6x-4) (-6x -4)

Equating them with zero

-6x -4 = 0

-6x = 4

x = -2/3

similarly when -6x -4 is equated with zero it gives -2/3

so x = -2/3
