Hi....!!

Let's factorise 36x^2-16y^2

Firstly let's bring into the simplest form....

36x^2-16y^2 = (6x)^2- (4y)^2

Now this is in (a)^2-(b)^2 identity....


(a)^2-(b)^2= (a+b)(a-b)

(6x)^2-(4y)^2 = (6x+4y)(6x-4y)
