p(x) : 3x² - 12√2x - √2x + 8
3x(x-4√2) - √2(x-4√2)
(x-4√2)(3x-√2)
for zeroes put p(x) =0
then, x=4√2 or x=√2/3
hope this helps you

Vexx: the midterm in your answer doesn't match the one in the question...
anju5o: hey, -12√2x-√2x= -13√2x, and (-12√2)*(-√2) =8*3
Vexx: oh okay, my bad. Thanks for clarifying.
