Given : 4x² - 2x - 20  = x²  + 9x

To Find : Factorise

Solution:

4x² - 2x - 20  = x²  + 9x

=> 3x² - 11x - 20 = 0

=>  3x² - 15x + 4x  - 20 = 0

=> 3x( x - 5) + 4(x - 5) = 0

=> ( 3x + 4) (x - 5)  = 0

4x² - 2x - 20  = x²  + 9x

=>  ( 3x + 4) (x - 5)  = 0
