you mean factorise

4p^4 + 9q^4 + 12p^2q^2. (^ this sign is used to show power )

by identity ( a + b ) ^2= a^2 +2ab + b^2

then

=4p^4 + 9q^4 + 12p^2q^2

=(2p^2)^2 + (3q^2)^2 + 2×2p^2×3q^2

= (2p^2 +3q^2)^2
