4x² - 8x + 4

= 4x² - 4x - 4x + 4

= 4x(x - 1) - 4(x - 1)

= (4x - 4)(x - 1)

= 4(x - 1)(x - 1).

hi \: ..

4 {x}^{2}  - 8x + 4 = 0

Dividing both sides by 4

 {x}^{2}  - 2x + 1 = 0

 {x}^{2}  - x - x + 1 = 0

x(x - 1) - 1(x - 1) = 0

(x - 1)(x - 1) = 0

x - 1 = 0

x = 1

This is the required solution .

hope this helps you ! ! !
