by splitting method :

4x^2 + 4x +1

4x^2 + 2x +2x +1

taking common

2x ( 2x +1) + 1 ( 2x + 1)

( 2x +1) (2x + 1)

( 2x = -1 ) ( 2x = -1)

( x = -1/2) ( x = -1/2 ) are its factors

Answer:

4x^2+4x+1

4x^2+(2+2)x+1

4x^2+2x+2x+1

2x(2x+1)+1(2x+1)

(2x+1) or (2x+1)

2x+1=0 or 2x+1=0

2x=0-1 or 2x=0-1

2x=-1 or 2x=-1

x=-1/2 or x=-1/2
