Hello Friend,

Here,

4x² - 9y² - 2x - 3y
= (2x)² - (3y)² - (2x + 3y)

[Now, a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)]

= (2x + 3y)(2x - 3y) - (2x + 3y)

[Taking (2x + 3y) as common]

= (2x + 3y)(2x - 3y - 1)

→ Thus,

4x² - 9y² - 2x - 3y = (2x + 3y)(2x - 3y - 1)

Hope it helps.
