\boxed{ANSWER..}

Factorise...

1) √5x^2 + 2x - 3√5

= √5x^2 + 5x - 3x - 3√5

= √5x(x + √5) - 3(x + √5)

= (x + √5) (√5x - 3)

.

2) 2(x+y)^2 - 9(x+y) - 5

= Let (x+y) be a..

= 2a^2 - 8a - 5

= 2a^2 - 10a + a - 5

= 2a(a - 5) + 1(a - 5)

= (a - 5) (2a + 1)

= (x + y - 5) (2x + 2y + 1)

.

3) 4x^4 7x^2 - 2

= 4x^4 + 8x^2 - x^2 - 2

= 4x^2(x^2 + 2) - 1(x^2 + 2)

= (x^2 + 2) (4x^2 - 1)

= (x^2 + 2) ( (2x)^2 - (1)^2)

= (x^2 + 2) (2x + 1) ( 2x - 1)...
