Factorise 5x^{2} + x - 4 using Factor Theorem.

5x^2 + ( 5-4)x -4
5x^2+5x-4x-4
5x(x+1) - 4(x+1)
(5x-4)(x+1)

5x² + x -4

=5x² + 5x - 4x -4

= 5x(x +1) -4(x +1)

= ( 5x -4)( x +1)

Hence, (5x -4) and (x +1) are the factors of 5x² + x -4
