Hey there!

6x² - 4x - 2

= 6x² - 6x + 2x - 2

= 6x² + 2x - 6x - 2

= 2x ( 3x + 1 ) - 2 ( 3x + 1 )

= ( 2x - 2 ) ( 3x + 1 )

= 2 ( x - 1 ) ( 3x + 1 )

Hope helped!

6x^2 - 6x + 2x -2
6x(x-1) +2(x-1)
(6x+2) (x-1)
=》So, x = -1/3 & x = 1 ..
