Hi !!

This is your answer.

9x² - 48x + 64 = 0

let us find two numbers a and b such that a + b = -48 and a X b = 64 X 9.

Hence, a = -24 and b = -24 as
a X b = 64X9 = -24 X -24
and . a + b = -24 -24 = -48.

So, 9x² - 48x + 64 = 0
9x² - 24x -24x + 64 = 0
3x (3x - 8) - 8 (3x - 8) = 0
(3x - 8) (3x- 8) = 0.

By comparing with 0,
3x - 8 = 0
x = 8/3 and x = 8/3.

Hence, the zeroes of the polynomial are  8/3 and 8/3.

Hope it helps

Heya !

Given equation,

9x² - 48x + 64 = 0

-> 9x² - 24x -24x + 64 = 0
-> 3x (3x - 8) - 8 (3x - 8) = 0
-> (3x - 8) (3x- 8) = 0
-> 3x - 8 = 0   or 3x - 8 = 0.
-> x =8/3 or x = 8/3.

Hence, the two zeroes of the polynomial are 8/3 and 8/3.
