9 {a}^{2}  - 36ab + 36 {b}^{2}

9 {a}^{2}  = 3 \times 3 \times a \times a

36ab = 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times a \times b

36b {}^{2}  = 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times b \times b

9( {a}^{2}  -  4ab \: + 4 {b}^{2} )
