Answer :

  • 9x² + 6xy + y² = (3x + y) (3x + y)

Given :

  • 9x² + 6xy + y²

To find :

  • Factorise

Solution :

》9x² + 6xy + y²

》(3x)² + 2 × 3 + y²

》(3x + y)²

As we know that,

  • (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab then,

where , a = 3x and b = y

》9x² + 6xy + y² = (3x + y) (3x + y)

More Explanation :

  • Quadratic Equation is an equation that can be written in standard form
  • ax² + bx + c = 0
  • where, a , b and c is real number then a is not equal to zero
