b) 9x^2+16y^2-24xy

a) 12x^2 - 7x +

= 12x^2 - 4x - 3x + 1

= 4x ( 3x-1) -1 ( 3x-1)

= (4x-1) ( 3x-1)

b) 9x^2 + 16y^2 - 24xy

9x^2−24xy+16y^2

= (3x−4y)(3x−4y)
