Answer:

(a) ^2+2(a)(1/2)+(1/2)^2

It is in the form of a^2+2ab+b^2=(a+b)^2

=(a+1/2)^2

=(a+1/2)(a+1/2)

Answer:

a2 + 1a2 - 14 = a2 + 1a2 + 2 - 16 = (a + 1a )2 - (4)2 = (a + 1a + 4 ) ( a + 1a - 4 ) a2 + 1a2 - 14 = (a + 1a + 4 ) ( a + 1a - 4 ) Hence factorized.
