a^2 - ab + b^2
= a^2 - 2ab + b^2 + ab
= (a-b)^2 + ab
= (a-b)^2 - i^2 * ab ...where i = √-1
So,
= (a-b+i√ab)(a-b-i√ab)

Hope this helps you

a^2-ab+b^2 =a^2+2ab +b^2 -3ab

=(a+b)^2 - (√3√a√b)^2

=(a+b +√3√a√b)(a+b -√3√a√b)
