Here is ur answer,

 =  >  {(a + b)}^{2}  - 3(a + b) + 2

 =  >  {(a + b)}^{2}  - 2(a + b) - (a + b) + 2

 =  > (a + b)(a + b - 2)  - 1(a + b - 2)

 =  > (a + b - 2)(a + b - 1)
