a - b - 4 {a}^{2}   + 4 {b}^{2}

 = 1(a - b) - 4( {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2} )

 = 1(a - b) - 4(a  + b)(a - b)

 = (a - b)(1 - 4(a + b))
