ab^2 +(a-1) b- 1
= ab^2 +ab-b-1 ( using distribuing property)
=ab (b+1)-1(b+1)
Take (b+1) is common factor
=( b+1) (ab-1)
Therefore
(b+1), ( ab-1) are two factors.
I hope this helps you
