Answer:

a) x(x+y)-1(x+y)

(x+y) (x-1)

{x=-y. ,. x=1}

b) it should be x^3+3x^2-x-3

x^2(x+3)-1(x+3)

(x^2-1) (x+3)

(x^2=1) ,. (x=. - 3)

{x= 1, x= - 1. , x= - 3}
