 { - a}^{2}  +  4ab + 4b^{2}

Changing Signs

 {a}^{2}  - 4ab - 4b^{2}

THEN FACTORISING,

using formula....

 ( a - b)^{2}  = a^{2}  - 2ab + b^{2}

WE GET....

a {}^{2}   - 2 \times a \times 2b + 2b {}^{2}

a = a

b = 2b
