CORRECT QUESTION

Factorise-:

 {a}^{2}b -  {ac}^{2}  - ab +  {c}^{2}

ANSWER

The answer is; (ab-c²) (a-1)

GIVEN

Algebraic equation; a²b - ac² - ab + c²

TO FIND

To factorise the given expresion.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We are given an expression-

 {a}^{2} b -  {ac}^{2}  - ab +  {c}^{2}

Rearranging the terms;

= a²b - ab - ac² + c²

taking out the common variable;

= ab(a - 1) - c²(a -1)

The above expression can also be written as;

= (ab -c²) (a-1)

Hence, The answer is; (ab-c²) (a-1)
