hi mate,

solution: a²b² + 8ab - 9

= ( ab )² + 2×ab×4 + 16 -25

= ( ab )² + 2×ab×4 + 4² - 5²

= ( ab + 4 )² - 5²

= ( ab + 4 + 5 )( ab + 4 - 5 )

= ( ab + 9 )( ab - 1 )

i hope it helps you.
