➾2 {x}^{2} - x - 6 = 0

➾2 {x}^{2} - 3x + 2x - 6 = 0

➾2x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) = 0

➾(2x + 2)(x - 3) = 0

➾2x + 2 = 0

➾2x = - 2
