(a) x^2 - 7x + 10

    = x^2 - 2x - 5x + 10

    = x(x - 2) - 5(x - 2)

    = (x - 2)(x - 5).

(b) m^2 + 11mn + 18n^2.

   = m^2 + 2mn + 9mn + 18n^2

   = m(m + 2n) + 9n(m + 2n)

   = (m + 2n)( m + 9n).

Hope this helps!
