by factorisation method,

▶ 12x²-4x-3x+1
▶ 4x ( 3x-1) -1 (3x+1)
▶ (4x-1) (3x-1)

▶ 4x-1=0. or 3x-1= 0

▶ x = 1/4. or. x = 1/3

⭕ (ii) 2x²+7x+3

by factorisation method,

▶ 2x²+6x+x+3

▶ 2x (x+3) +1 (x+3)

▶ (2x+1) (x+3)

▶ 2x+1 =0 or. x+3 =0

x = -1/2. or. x = -3
