Answer:p(x)=2x4-6x3+x2-x+2

g(x)=x+2

if ,x+2 is a factor of p(x).

put g(x)=0

x+2=0

x=-2

now, putting the value of x in p(x)

2(-2)4-6(-2)3+(-2)2-(-2)+2

2×16-6(-8)+4+2+2

32+48+8

40+48

88

hence,it is not a factor of p(x).

because p(x)≠0.
