then, by middle term splitting method-

Then, by putting the value of x in this, we get,

$= (x - 6)(x - 2) \\ \\ = ( {a}^{2} - a - 6)( {a}^{2} - a - 2) \\ \\ = ( {a}^{2} - a)( - 6 - 2) \\ \\ = ( {a}^{2} - a)( - 8)$
