 =  >  {x}^{2}  + 3x + 2 = 0

 =  >  {x}^{2}  + 2x + x + 2 = 0

 =  > x(x + 2) + 1(x + 2) = 0

 =  > (x + 1)(x + 2) = 0

Hence,

x+1=0 or x+2=0

x= -1. or. x= -2

Hope it helps..

Jeniyaa: thats why we splitted 3x into 2x and x
Jeniyaa: we have to split the middle term in such a way that the splitted term when multiplied should be equal to last term
Jeniyaa: e.g- 2 = 2 x 1
Jeniyaa: Hope uh understood..
manak37: yes. ok
manak37: what u did there

Answer:

(x+2)(x+1)

x+2=0

x=-2

x+1=0

x=-1

Explanation:

x^2+3x+2

x^2+(2+1)x+2

x^2+2x+1x+2

x(x+2)+1(x+2)

(x+2)(x+1)

x+2=0

x=-2

x+1=0

x=-1
