 {x}^{3}  - 2 {x}^{2}  - x + 2 \\  \\  =  {x}^{2} (x - 2) - 1(x - 2) \\   \\ = (x - 2)( {x}^{2}  - 1) \\  \\  = (x - 2)(x + 1)(x - 1)
