we can use middle term splitting in this question.

for this we need to find two numbers a,b

a+ b should be equal to -6

and a×b should be equal to 8

I know two numbers which give this answer ,they are - 4 and -2

x^2 -4x-2x +8

x(x-4)-2(x-4)

(x-4)(x-2)
