1.Factorize 2x² + 3√5x + 5 .
Solution : 2x² + 3√5 x + 5
= 2x² + 2√5 x + √5 x + 5
= 2x ( x + √5 ) + √5 ( x + √5 )
= ( x + √5 ) ( 2x + √5 ).

Solution : x² + √2 x - 4
= x² + 2√2 x - √2 x - 4
= x ( x + 2√2 ) - √2 ( x + 2√2 )
= ( x + 2√2 ) ( x - √2 )

3. Factorize 6x² + 40 - 31x.
Solution : 6x² + 40 - 31x
= 6x² - 31x + 40
= 6x² - 15 x - 16 x + 40
