factorise : (p^2 + q^2 - r^2) - 4 p^2 q^2

I think you have done mistake in the question..... If the question us correct, then just remove the brackets..... then..

( {p}^{2}  +  {q}^{2}  +  {r}^{2} ) - 4 {p}^{2}  {q}^{2}
will be

 {p}^{2}  +  {q}^{2}  +  {r}^{2} - 4 {p}^{2}  {q}^{2}

If it will be factorised the answer will be
p {}^{2}  + q {}^{2}  - r ^{2}  -4 p {}^{2} q {}^{2}
