p(x) = 6x² + 2x - 2

x =  \frac{ - b \frac{ + }{}  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 1 \frac{ + }{} \sqrt{ {1}^{2} +48 }  }{12}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 1 \frac{ + }{}7 }{12}

Hence,

x = (-1+7)/12 and x = (-1-7)/12

= 6/12 = 1/2 = -8/12 = -2/3

Therefore,

6x²+x-2 = (x-½)(x+2/3)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey mate!!!!!!

6*2=12

12 has 3 and 4 as its factors which satisfy the conditions :

So,

6x²+x-2

= 6x²+4x-3x-2

=2x(3x+2)-1(3x+2)

(2x-1)(3x+2)

Hope this helps!!!!
