Answer:
Answer:
x^4+ x^3- 7x^2 - x + 6
Let x= 1
so, 1^4 + 1^3 - 7(1)^2 - x + 6
= 1 - 1 - 7 + 7
=0
If u divide x^4+ x^3- 7x^2 - x + 6 by x= -1
= x^3 -7x-6
then x^3 -7x-6
let x = -1
-1^3 - 7(-1)-6
= -1+ 7- 6
=0
Now divide x^3 -7x-6 by x= 1
= x^2- x- 6
x^2- x- 6
=x^2 -3x +2x- 6
=x (x-3) + 2(x-3)
=(x+2) (x-3)
Answer is (x+1)(x-1)(x+2)(x-3)
Hope it is helpful
