Solution :

6x² + 11x + 3

First off all, we've to split the middle term in such a way that the no. becomes the multiplication of the first and last coefficient and on adding or subtracting, we get the middle value, i.e 11.

Here,

= 6x² + 9x + 2x + 3

= 3x ( 2x + 3 ) + 1 ( 2x + 3 )

= ( 3x + 1 ) ( 2x + 3 )

Here,

3x + 1 = 0

→ 3x = - 1

→ x = -1/3

OR

2x + 3 = 0

→ 2x = - 3

→ x = - 3/2
