Question :--- Factorise , x³ + 6x² + 11x + 6 ?

Solution :--

If we want to Factorise any Equation, put it Equal to Zero First ,

x³ + 6x² + 11x + 6 = 0

Splitting the Terms now, we get ,

x³ + x² + 5x² + 5x + 6x + 6 = 0

→ (x³ + x²) + (5x² + 5x) + (6x+6) = 0

Taking common From Each now,

x²(x+1) + 5x(x+1) + 6(x+1) = 0

Taking (x+1) common From whole Equation now,

(x+1) [ x² + 5x + 6 ] = 0

Again , Splitting the Middle Term of Quadratic Part Now,

(x+1) [ x² + 3x +2x + 6 ] = 0

→ (x+1) [ x(x+3) + 2(x+3) ] = 0

→ (x+1) [ (x+3) (x+2) ] = 0

→ (x+1)(x+2)(x+3) = 0 (Ans).
