Factorise the expression :- 3x²-3x²y+xy²-xy​

f(x,y) = 3x3+5x2y+xy2−y3

Now look for a factor. By inspection

f(x,y) =(3x−y)(x2+2xy+y2)

And the second bracket also factorises:
