Answer:

 {x}^{2}  + 8x + 15 \\    {x}^{2}  + 5x + 3x + 15 \\   x(x + 5) + 3(x +  5)  \\ (x +5)(x + 3)

Thank you. The second seems a bit difficult

Question:

  • x^{2} + 8x + 15
  • x^{2} - 20x + 52

To Find:

{\boxed{The factorization of the Equations:}}

Concept:

By using the middle-splitting factor theorem.

Answer:

  • x^{2} + 8x + 15

\Rightarrow x^{2} + (5 + 3)x + 15

\Rightarrow x^{2} + 5x + 3x + 15

\Rightarrow x(x + 5) + 3(x + 5)

By taking the commons ,we get:

\Rightarrow (x + 5)(x + 3)

\therefore x = -5\\x = -3
