Given polynomial is 2x²+7x+3

This can be easily done by splitting mid term.

We need two no's whose sum is 7 (x - coefficient) and product 6 (product of x² and constant) hence we get 6 and 1 as the no's so we split 7x to 6x and x as shown below :-

= 2x²+ 6x + x + 3

= 2 * x * (x+3) + 1 * (x+3)

Now taking (x+3) common we get,

= (x + 3) (2x + 1)

Hence (x + 3) (2x + 1)  is the factorized polynomial

Answer:

2x^2+6x+x+3

2x(x+3)+1(x+3)

(2x+1) (x+3)

2x+1=0, 2x=-1, x=-1/2

x+3=0, x=-3
