• Applying Quadratic formula (to find roots)
• Completing the square method

Here we apply the first method which is splitting of middle term.

For this find 2 numbers such that:

• Their product is 9
• And their sum is -10

Those 2 numbers which fulfill the above requirement are -9 and -1

So, the given Quadratic equation can be written as:

x² - x - 9x + 9 = 0

⇒ x(x - 1) - 9(x - 1) = 0
