Factorise the following 6X square + 35XY square -6Y  square

6x^2 + 35xy - 6y^2 = (x + 6y)(6x - y)

Solution:

Given that,

6x^2 + 35xy - 6y^2

We have to factorise the above given expression

From given,

6x^2 + 35xy - 6y^2

Split the middle term

6x^2 + 36xy - xy - 6y^2

Group the expression

(6x^2 + 36xy) - (xy + 6y^2)

Factor out 6x from first group and y as common term from second term

6x(x + 6y) - y(x + 6y)

Factor out x + 6y

(x + 6y)(6x - y)

Thus the factored form is found
