a²+ 8a+ 16

Factorise: a^{2} +8a+16

Solution:

:\implies a^{2} + 2 \times 4 \times a+ 4^{2} \\:\implies (a+4)^{2}

Using Identity = (x+4)^{2} = x^{2} + 2xy + y^{2}
