Question - 1). 6x² + 5x - 6 = 0

Solution: We will Factorise it by splitting middle term.

=> 6x² + 5x - 6 = 0

=> 6x² + 9x - 4x - 6 = 0

=> 3x(2x + 3) - 2(2x + 3) = 0

=> (3x - 2) (2x + 3) = 0

=> 3x = 2

=> x = 2/3

And,

=> 2x + 3 = 0

=> 2x = -3

=> x = -3/2

Question - 2). 3x² - x - 4 = 0

Solution: We will Factorise it by splitting middle term.

=> 3x² - x - 4 = 0

=> 3x² - 4x + 3x - 4 = 0

=> x(3x - 4) + 1(3x - 4) = 0

=> (x + 1) (3x - 4) = 0

=> x + 1 = 0

=> x = - 1

And,

=> 3x - 4 = 0

=> 3x = 4

=> x = 4/3
