factorise the following by using factor theorem
(¡) x^2+5x-66​

Hey mate here's your answer.

x²+5x-66

= x²+(11-6)x -66

=x²+11x-6x-66

= x(x+11)-6(x+11)

=(x+11)(x-6)

Either, x+11=0 Or,. x-6=0

=> x = -11. => x = 6

Therefore, the value of x is 6 and -11 .
